Who are we looking for?
This is a temporary position expected to last approximately 9-12 months.
As a Product Selection Controller in our eCommerce team, you will be the lead for our Product and Range strategies across all key online partners.
You’ll succeed by applying fantastic end to end project management skills to grow traffic and to increase customer satisfaction.
Liaising with teams across the organisation, this role is pivotal in driving increased sales and improved profitability for UK Greetings whilst keeping the online shopper front of mind.

• Will demonstrate exceptional organisational skills, coupled with strong communication and analytical abilities and enthusiasm to proactively problem solve.
• Be skilled in handling priorities, with multitasking as a crucial strength.
• Be proficient in MS Office especially Excel.
Key activities & responsibilities include:
Strategy and Communication
• Analysis and interpretation of data to make product recommendations & assortment selections for our category to drive sales and productivity within the eCommerce accounts.
• Project management of all year round and seasonal activity. Liaising with internal teams and the retailer to manage CDPs (critical data paths/timelines).
• Collaborate internally to formulate clear objectives and strategies for product, merchandising and marketing across the online portfolio of key customers.
• Ensure effective communication and the timely implementation of plans, adhering to established schedules.
• Develop an in-depth knowledge of UK Greetings’ online portfolio, competitive marketplaces, consumers, and the wider product categories.
Merchandising, Product Development and Creativity
• Maximise product placement through effective merchandising.
• Interpreting sales and customer search term (CST) data to make sound proposals for product selection to drive future sales growth.
• Continuously monitor marketplace activity, sales trends, and market research to identify opportunities for new product launches.
• Manage our online portfolio of stores with key customers and other enhanced content such as A+ and video.
We are looking for someone with experience in eCommerce, Product Management, Retail Merchandising or Category Management. Previous experience with Amazon (vendor central or seller central) or other online retailers is an advantage, but not essential.
The Company operates in a hybrid working pattern of office-based days and working from home. Head Office is based in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire. This role requires a minimum of 2 days in the office with core days being Tuesday and Wednesday.
There may be travel involved in this role therefore a full driving licence is required.
